I've liked Pink for a while. She had a nice mix of songs between funny and serious (f***ing perfect). And, idk, seems more real than some musicians.

In terms of total number of albums released/number of cds I own, she is arguably my favourite singer.

She got lucky. The other R&B/rockish singer who came out at the same time with empowering lyrics that ran counter to the general trend of the Brittany/Christina era disappeared into obscurity after one album.

Heh. Ever see the "We will rock you" gladiator Pepsi ad that Pink, Beyonce, and Britney Spears did?

I remember that when it came to the part where the three of them faced each other in the arena with their gladiator gear and weapons, my first thought was "What idiot thought this would be a good idea? It wouldn't even be a close fight! Pink would kick both their asses."

Pink is one of those performers whose music is only somewhat attractive, but I would love to see live. She's clearly an immensely talented entertainer.
