Date: 2015-06-06 06:45 pm (UTC)I remember loving this book and not being disappointed at all, but I was in 8th grade, probably, so may have been looking at it from a somewhat different viewpoint. Also, that was a loooong time ago so I mighta forgot stuff.
Weirdly enough, even tho I loved Simon and Jaelithe and still have a lot of affection for both, I remember the plots and happenings and characters from the next 3 books a LOT better. Which might be a good sign for you going forward. I had honestly forgotten a lot of the details from the first two books which your reviews reminded me of.
