I feel as though I'm missing something here. Not quite as much as when I read some of John M. Ford's stories, but even so.

I can't think of a John M. Ford story that made me feel like I was missing something. (It may be that I do not realize I live by the airport.)

This one makes me hope I'm not getting it at all.
