Date: 2025-03-16 03:54 pm (UTC)Many decades ago, I read this in a Swedish translation that might have been bowdlerised, because I don't remember any lesbianism in it. I certainly found it on the youth side of the library, alongside The Blue Hawk and Annerton Pit. (But don't worry, I acquired English-language electronic copies of both it and the sequel in 2021.)
You ought to review the sequel too. There's even more of a different royal family having no effect on history. Thatcher, the Troubles, and the Third Junta all follow the same schedule as in our world....
