I don't fly myself so if it turns out somehow that a device pushed by the former head of DHS/current stockholder in Rapiscan, manufacturer of backscatter scanners, isn't quite as safe as it is supposed to be, a few orders of magnitude increase of radiation-related maladies would be worth it to me for the added security. Even the occasional complete disintegration of the odd traveler during power spikes is obviously acceptable.
