Devon, Rachel and Garth enter the New Eden Dome. Curiously, although this is one of the nicer domes they have seen, nobody appears to be home. As they enter, the trio is observed by scientists Asgard (played by Simon Oakland, whose hair has been dusted with flour) and Talbot. Asgard is certain that he will be able to use the trio to prove one and for all that his theories about humans are correct.

This begins with Devon awake while the other two snooze in a room the trio appear to have commandeered. Devon gives Rachel a kiss behind the ear while she is still asleep (which I think is the first moment of physical affection in the series). An alarm begins to sound, announcing the arrival of the Pisces.
