Once again, I am a mere background figure, not even a red shirt. But there are some interesting works up for Hugo, as well as puppy crap destined to place below no award.

And Penric's Demon is on the Puppy slate despite Bujold requesting them to take it off.

Reynolds also requested Slow Bullets be removed from the Sad Puppies slate, but Paulk refused to do it. I don't think he attempted to get it removed from the Rabids, but you can hardly blame someone for not wanting to deal with VD.

The story was on my nomination ballot as well, so I'd like to vote for it on the final ballot, but I don't like the fact that being on the Rabid slate gives it an unfair advantage against the Okorafor story.
