Mac or Windoze? I have that problem at home occasionally with my eMac - only solution seems to be to reboot. Works fine in other browsers, and only happens in FF about once a week.

Someone posted a gigantic picture or something in metaquotes, and it seems to be having scattered bad effects. It might be related to that.

I think it's your friends page, or an entry thereon, rather than Firefox; I use Firefox also, and I'm not having trouble. It looks like an earlier poster may have nailed the specific problem.

Dude, whose username I sadly missed, posted to metaquotes; I guess your friends page was set to display that. metaquotes mod deleted the post and hopefully banned the dude, so all is well now.
