The one sour note is that I planned to run as co-Vice with Megan Redwood but it turns out elected positions may only be filled by one person.

Sarah, the outgoing vice, will be a very hard act to follow. She greatly improved the food selection at parties, as well as improving the social activity finances.

The FASS Theatre Company is serious about having fun -- we're a live cartoon on stage! We've been entertaining Kitchener-Waterloo with variety and musical comedy since 1962, making us UW's longest-operating amateur theatre group. Most of the fun occurs in January when over 100 cast and crew rehearse and prepare the show just in time for February. We do have other social events all year round!
FASS stands for Faculty, Alumni, Staff and Students. We welcome anyone and everyone. Each year we see new friendships created and old ones renewed. If we're not too busy laughing at ourselves in rehearsals, trading jokes at writers meetings or sharing donuts backstage, you'll probably find us going out to a movie or throwing a famous FASS Party! One of the interesting things about FASS is that everyone who auditions gets a role, so the writers have to come up with a script with 90 roles suitable for people whose ability ranges from professional to 'cannot recall or deliver lines I myself actually wrote.'

Another interesting thing about FASS is that two thirds of the people who have been chief scriptwriter more than once also have multiple legitimate Hugo nominations.
