Got to watch a pair of very angry cats

(Not mine) stare daggers at a rabbit in their back yard. Oddly, a squirrel was interesting but not a focus of ire.

Rabbits have an undeserved reputation for being a bit soft. Bucks, at the least, can be quite vicious and domineering, and they have the teeth and powerful back legs (with claws) to back up the attitude.

The jackrabbit I've seen a few times in a local park doesn't look like he'd be an easy meal. And he sure can move.

I am not sure if all cats necessarily view rabbits as prey or as catlike turf invaders.
