Gettysburg

This would have been more timely a few days ago: it is an account of the Battle of Gettysburg, in which the Slavers and their fellow travelers lost an important battle to the United States.

Don't know the battle in detail so I cannot comment on the accuracy.

Odd that it's referred to as a battle, rather than a police action to put down the treasonous revolt of the slaveholders.

It was the largest ground battle ever fought in the western hemisphere, as far as we know.

Did it wax poetic about Lee? I really liked the book Lincoln's Dreams till I read Battle Cry of Freedom by James M. McPherson (highly recommended, fun to read one volume history of the Slavers' Rebellion). That put paid to any romanticizing of the 'rebels' being allowed with me, and Firefly came out shortly after. I probably wouldn't have lasted till after the first 'whore' anyway though.
