Groucho seems to have had an epiphany about Unnamed, which is that Unnamed is warm and can be used in the same way Tapestry used Groucho: as a living hot water bottle.
I do not recall if you have answered this before, do you use Unnamed as a placeholder so as not to get as attached or is it more about waiting until the right name reveals itself?
Yeah, I have that problem, too. Even when I keep a camera by the bed to catch early morning cuteness, it's difficult to get a picture before one or two of them move. On good mornings they just lift their heads, and sometimes I can get the shot. On bad mornings; I move, Henry and Josephine wag their cat to^^^tails, and Zoe pounces. Hilarity ensues.
It would be far from the first time there was a word in a subculture that I didn't know :).
Also, he's not a prodigal kitten unless he returns to his original home, no? So that's why I thought maybe it was a correct word, just one I didn't know.
