The prodigal kitten update

Groucho seems to have had an epiphany about Unnamed, which is that Unnamed is warm and can be used in the same way Tapestry used Groucho: as a living hot water bottle.

I do not recall if you have answered this before, do you use Unnamed as a placeholder so as not to get as attached or is it more about waiting until the right name reveals itself?

It happened at night. During the day, G moves to his radiator.

Yeah, I have that problem, too. Even when I keep a camera by the bed to catch early morning cuteness, it's difficult to get a picture before one or two of them move. On good mornings they just lift their heads, and sometimes I can get the shot. On bad mornings; I move, Henry and Josephine wag their cat to^^^tails, and Zoe pounces. Hilarity ensues.

Yeah... Our guinea pigs hate the camera, and as soon as it comes out, they hide. So I can only really get pictures of them on B's lap.

Prodical? Or prodigal?

It would be far from the first time there was a word in a subculture that I didn't know :).

Also, he's not a prodigal kitten unless he returns to his original home, no? So that's why I thought maybe it was a correct word, just one I didn't know.

And still no name... hopefully one turns up for him before "Unnamed" start to stick.

Still a bit sad I didn't call Eddie Chicago the Windy Kittie.

Maybe name him "Prodigy"?

I thought Cheddar was pretty good too. But it doesn't have the hidden pun of Chicago.

I hadn't realized until just now, how much Unnamed Prodigy looks like Scalzi's cat Zeus.

I realize tuxedo cats aren't all that rare.

He looks a bit like Blotchy, too, but the orange-amber eyes are odd.

"Radiator" would be a fine name!
