I wonder if something like this exists in Canada? We also sterilized the unwanted until more recently than you may think.

Moreover, until now there has never been a website providing an easily accessible overview of American eugenics for all American states.

This site provides such an overview.

I was surprised to find that my state -- which I did know has had a horrible racist legacy in other ways -- has the highest rate of sterilizations of all. One third of the sterilizations in the whole country occured in California. Possibly because the practice was carried out with respect to all manner of mental illness and also by the upper classes on their own children to punish sexual behavior they didn't approve of (making it miore acceptable all around)?
