1: I like some of Lindsey Stirling's work.

2: Phantom really is among the least interesting pieces of music composed in the last ten thousand years.

Yes, that was musically uninteresting, lovely as the presentation was.

I lake some of her work also. I do find some of the editing a bit frustrating in that what she's doing on the instrument does not always match the music, which as a violinist i find very frustrating. This particular video does not have that issue blatantly.

I think I first encountered her via the LOTR medley or the Zelda medley. She seems to have quite the geek career.

What happened to Andrew Lloyd Webber after Jesus Christ Superstar?

I had to stop watching the video, because it looked too much like she wasn't actually playing. According to Wikipedia, though, she does actually play the violin, not just dance with it, so listening was OK. I don't play violin, but seeing her arms and hands not matching the music was intensely annoying, to the point where I went to a different tab so I could listen and not watch. (And check Wikipedia. :})

Phantom's music really is meant to support the action and voices; the melody line alone isn't all that, it's really the stuff in the bass that holds the most interest. IMO, YMMV.

It might be interesting to see what she does on stage when she goes on tour.
