An interesting question asked on rasfw whose answer I do not know:

My father named me after a character in a Science Fiction novel that was
published some time prior to 1955. The character was Seva, the Greek
Goddess of Destruction. Unfortunately, I never thought to ask him for
the name of the book before he passed away. I'd really like to find it.

Can anyone help me ?

I've never encountered the name Seva (which the poster thinks is was a made-up god* whose name was inspired by Shiva) before and can be of no help to them.

* Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean.
