For a brief moment, I thought there a was a uniformed centaur in the lower right. Kind of sorry it wasn't, but I do need new glasses.

Manned mostly by invalid military pensioners, with a two-day supply of food; no cannon fired on either side; and at the triumph of Liberte, all the prisoners of feudal injustice poured out: four convicted forgers, the Comte de Solages (incarcerated for libertinism by his family), and two lunatics. Every revolution includes some silliness to be recast into high drama, but the fall of the Bastille takes the gateau for symbolism over piffling substance.
