It seemed pretty standard to me. Trumped up relationship drama, too much Rachel Berry, Coach Sylvester being horrible yet touching, Slushee, some fun singing. I'll grant that there hasn't been synchronized swimming before that I can remember, but other than that I don't see how you could distinguish between this and every other episode of Glee.
