Case in point.

Huh. I was going to mention that AH I once did where someone in Africa noticed that the Lemba fit the backstory in the Book of Mormon better than any group in the New World does and in looking for it discovered the Lemba have not gone unnoticed in the Mormon community.

(note that because parts of the BoM embrace a 19th century world-view, as though it was composed whole cloth by some dude in western New York, some of the discussion has to wander into what the author calls "racially charged" territory)

Asked in email. I have no idea what story this is:

Plot: People in domes where the ruling class got cybernetic implants that
added to their intelligence/memory. There was some risk involved with the
implant, so some kids don't survive or end up brain damaged in some way.
The main character is a teen boy who has just gotten his implant. He finds
out that someone actually decides whether or not the implant will be
successful, the damage doesn't happen by accident, and one of his friends
is the child of a family that doesn't 'fit in'. He ends up having an
adventure outside the dome. Random other detail, dome-dwellers habitually
remove all their body hair.

Is there a way to read documents passively on the Playbook? What I mean is, if on my shell account I use the more command, I can look at a file without worrying that I will change it and of course on the kobo I can read a book without inadvertently calling up a keyboard every time I touch the screen too vigorously. Is there some way to look at a document without automatically being in potential edit mode?
