Exit Dorchester
Mar. 11th, 2012 10:07 amNicked from ocelott in genre_reviews:
Dorchester Publishing, plagued by financial troubles for years and having recently divested itself of its remaining editorial staff, appears to be marching towards an ignoble end after more than 40 years in business. In a twist worthy of Dorchester's tortured road to collapse, the publisher's owner is the one foreclosing, on a personal basis, against the company itself, and will collect the proceeds from the sale of at least some of its property--raising questions about whether any assets will remain to pay creditors.

If NASA was to give its space probes theme songs, what genre should they be?
JAXA's solar sail mission IKAROS is still hibernating, and there's no way of knowing if the spacecraft will reawaken or not. They try to raise contact with the spacecraft once a month, with the last attempt being made on March 10; we can only wait to see if they'll succeed. What better time to release a theme song for the mission?

MP Eric Joyce has been fined £3,000 and banned from pubs for three months after he admitted assaulting politicians in a House of Commons bar.
