Freed from the tyranny of haircuts
Dec. 26th, 2004 11:28 amBecause I now own my own set of clippers.
Unfortunately, the mirror is in the bathroom and the bathroom has no power supply [1]. Experiments involving cats and treadmills have been unsuccessful to date. This made my first self-hair cut a bit tricky but my thought is if I can keep it at an 1/8th of an inch, that won't matter. Anyway, one group of long hairs I missed with the clippers (but tidied up with scissors) but otherwise OK.
_Nothing_ like the incident with the razor, shaving my head by feel. Very little blood at all.
1: It used to have a screw-in plug that went into the light fixture but it tended to smoke and sputter when I used it so I got rid of it.
