2007! Serbia, fresh from being found only negligent with respect to genocide, wins Eurovision, the IPCC credits humans with a stalwart effort to return Earth to the conditions of the Paleocene–Eocene Thermal Maximum, and Canada proves it is a world-class nation with its very first domestically-produced F5 tornado.

Does anyone know if Paul Melko is still active? I very much enjoyed all three of his novels and the short story collection, but can't see any trace of him on the net since 2012.

Amazing! For the first time I score zero. I've not read/seen any of these.

Batman Begins and the Doctor Who episode.

(I don't THINK I've watched Howl's Moving Castle, although I have read the book.)

If not for "Burn" I wouldn't have read anything from that year. I had to check isfdb to be sure I'd even read that, as I no longer recall anything about it, and I didn't keep The Wreck of the Godspeed and Other Stories.

Just Farthing. Can really tell when I stopped reading printed short fiction and anthologies from these last few years.

Walton, Kushner, *want* to read the Ford, and then Beagle and Sherman, and all the movies/TV. (But I only saw Batman years later.) Also, Howl is a good movie, but not a good adaptation.
