As Chair of Glasgow 2024, A Worldcon for Our Futures, I unreservedly apologise for the damage caused to nominees, finalists, the community, and the Hugo, Lodestar, and Astounding Awards.

Kat Jones has resigned with immediate effect as Hugo Administrator from Glasgow 2024 and has been removed from the Glasgow 2024 team across all mediums.

It seems a good statement, and it was released quickly. Not clear if the resignation was requested, "requested," or her own idea, but that doesn't matter much.

The curtain behind the shit show has finally been opened. I downloaded the epub of the final report this morning, I expect it'll take some digesting. Clearly everything that I suspected was going on was completely wrong.
