I had this at one point, and appear to have given it away because I hadn't gotten around to reading it after a decade or so. (Most of the time I just keep keeping them, but sometimes I have guilt fits.)

Shall re-find.

I used to own this (with a yellow spine IIRC) but it went to the charity bookshop in the last major clear out. I read it once, and got to the end and went shame, a bunch of also-ran stories. It could and should have been awesome...

I found the novel length version of The Dreamstone, by Cherryh, and its sequel, The Tree of Swords and Jewels, to be enjoyable. I think they were reprinted in an omnibus edition called The Dreaming Tree.
