All of this means that things are more stable now than they were a couple of months ago. Does it mean everything is back to normal? Well, no, unfortunately not. Pretty much every convention in 2020 has been cancelled at this point, game stores are still struggling, and orders did not magically go back to their pre-COVID levels. We had to make some big adjustments to our schedule and have to be much more strategic about what gets printed and in what quantities.

Between their games and Nisaba Press, Green Ronin puts out a lot of good material. I really hope "we're having a rough patch, please buy stuff" just means having a rough patch, not "the bank is sharpening the flensing knives".

At any rate, they're shipping physical books now. I'm buying as much of their stuff as I can.

Other than medical supplies firms and jigsaw puzzle makers, is any business doing well?

Zoom's stock is up about 3x since the beginning of the year. I gather that webcam porn is also doing well.

Video games are probably not doing too badly, I'd think, too.

I admit that Green Ronin has done good work in the past, but given their history of grooming women assistants for a serial sexual harasser, and their attempt to promote an industry wide "harassment reporting" standard designed to protect harassers...I'm done with them. It would be better for the hobby if they went out of business.

There's stuff in the reviewing pipeline I will finish (because I was paid) but after that, I will focus on other, less sketchy companies.

Honestly I'm sorry I'm such a stormcrow. Gaming is in a very similar state to where SF&F was 10 years ago, so things like GR's actions still tend to be in whisper networks.
