Only a cruel person would pay me to review that novel, or for that matter William R. Forstchen's Pillar to the Sky.

"Pillar to the Sky" was painful.

I suppose it might still do some good, if it attracts new SF readers to the genre.

Pillar to the Sky was the first NASA-Inspired Work of Fiction book. How desperate did NASA have to be to sign off on it? And was there a second NASA-Inspired Work of Fiction book?
