I adore Max! That's a neat one - closer to the original than many. The Mozart is "meh".

Period appropriate? He's performing in a style original to Berlin between WWI and WWII.

So at the appropriate dramatic moment it bursts into flames?

My first knowing exposure to "Dream a little dream" was the fallout of extracting Everything from the alt.binaries audio/music groups. By the time I came to my senses and stopped before I ran entirely out of disk space, various problems had led to different postings getting stuck together. The indomitable mp3 player I was using just shrugged off any glitches and soldiered on, so I experienced this as:

(mellow guitar) "-I love you. Birds singing in the sycamore tree, dream a little dream of me. Say nighty-night and kiss me, just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me-"

(THUNDEROUS SYNTH RIFF) "We're all here because of Jesus"

Interesting to hear how the rest of it goes!

Oh, that first one was the first music I heard this morning, and it just made me smile all over my face. Thank you - I don't mind that earworm at all!

I believe I could have done without the vampire clown.

What vampire? He was just...hungry.

Also, Max Raabe and Palastorchester are amazing. You don't want earworm? Don't listen to their pop covers.

I am always amused by Raabe's covers of more modern pop tunes.

Like We Will Rock You.
