But not only is that a reference to FDR's Four Freedom's speech, Rockwell's America also included scenes like this:

My family ate a whole calf in one year, is my earliest memory of our cuisine. And we had store-bought meat too.

I was told that I have a bias against eating more than one egg at a sitting because during the war the eggs Mom's chickens laid were the only meat we had plenty of: she rationed the eggs out of fear that the children would get sick of them.
