surely that won't stop you from declaring (early and often) how the boycott means that you won't be seeing the film? It wouldn't stop some people, at least.

The reviews I've read so far are lukewarm at best, but we'll see what the real buzz is when the first weekend's box office numbers are in.

Likewise, though I've just read that the only additional money Card is going to make will come from book sale boosts.

But on a related topic - after a 20 year gap, Chick-fil-a is back in the SF Bay Area. One's even in my home town - I can actively boycott them now!

I actually am boycotting it, because I'd have gone to see a good Harrison Ford SF movie in a heartbeat.

So that's something.

I don't know what Ford's got to say about his role or the movie, or Card for that matter, or what other idiotic, mean things he's said and done, and I don't care, but I am so disappointed in him for being in in Ender's Game I could spit.

Trying to boycott if possible; if it ends up on For Your Consideration lists or might be nommed for an Academy Award in acting/directing/writing, I'll pretty much have to watch it, but I don't think it's likely.
