Some time near that date is when I will write my five thousandth item for pay (ignoring the various items that didn't make it into my finished folder over the years). What's an appropriate way to celebrate? Aside from reading another book?

Maybe all James' commenters should dress up as unkempt youth and gather under his window so he can really let rip with the cane shaking?

I for one would also need makeup to cover one or two minor wrinkles, and perhaps dye the occasional grey hair.
