How well trained is Fig?

When I came in, he did the OMG I AM A GROWING CAT WHO IS STARVING TO DEATH! thing and led me to his bowl, which was indeed empty.

Groucho's, on the other hand, still has a quarter serving in it and it's a foot away from Fig's.

I wonder if I can do the same thing I used to do with Cleo, which is to balance a bit of kibble on his head. Cleo took the responsibility seriously and would carefully avoid tipping the kibble off for hours or until Eddie ate it.

In retrospect, probably a bad idea to convince Eddie that Cleo occasionally spontaneously produced kibble.

I can only imagine that Eddie found this amusing. Did he check Cleo's head often? Did you ever catch him trying to eat the forehead of any other cat?
