For the first time in Hugo history, none of the novels nominated for the Hugo were written by Americans.
Of course, none of them were written by Canadians, either, but that's nothing new. Canadian F&SF writers are not known for their ability to win SF awards (Special exemption for Rob Sawyer and for the Auroras, where Canucks enjoy something of an advantage).
