Yup, looks like it.

A wind tunnel might be a good runner up, though.

I'm thinking cats + wind tunnels = hilarity and then sadness.

Unless it's a family of robot cats!

That never ends in sadness.

But you can adjust the wind in them, can't you?

For a moment I saw the word adjust and was trying to figure out how adjusting the cats would solve the wind tunnel problem.

Better claws? Wings?

I'm surprised there isn't a futurist painting of that actually "Dynamism of a (http://www.artchive.com/artchive/B/balla/dogleash.jpg.html/) Cat in a Wind Tunnel" or some such.

That depends on what the robots actually _do_.

All three! I don't think anyone has ever tested the wind resistance of robots relative to a corpse.

A family of robots might not be a possible gift, since the word 'family' implies sentience to me, and quite likely agency. So probably not creatures that can be 'given'. Depends whether we're using the word in the same sense as "a family of dogs" to me - but I don't think that's the primary sense of it.

This leaves only two choices, and the obvious follow-up question: Captain DDOS's corpse, or somebody else's?

I assume that I get to choose the identity of the corpse, and that no blame of any kind attaches . . .

By "corpse" you mean a small bird or rodent corpse, right? It's a sign of love! (It's like leaving out cookies and milk!)

Doesnt it depend on who you are giving it to?

FREX I know Seanan McGuire would totally want the corpse

Yet I suspect John Scalzi would want the family of Robots

And Tiger Woods the wind tunnel

If the robots are sexbots, I must respectfully disagree about Mr. Wood's preference.

I picked "wind tunnel" because I'm not in good enough shape to dispose of a corpse these days, and because when you said "family of robots" I was thinking of antro-PC's, like Pintsize in Questionable Content, and I really don't need *that*.

A Wind tunnel OTOH has all sorts of possibilities for fun, particularly if it's one that's big enough to practice skydiving stuff in.
