Where are the cats?

Blotchy is spending his time under the kitchen sink and in the tub. Nimrod is under the bed. The others are spread out on the bed, with as much space between them and the other cats as they can manage.

It is cooler in the stairwell but none of them will sleep there.

The outdoor cats are suffering around here. Hot (for Maine values of "hot" -- about 32 C) and humid. A couple of our usual friends could barely be bothered to stir for their scritches.

If someone bought it me, I'd likely read it. If someone gave me a pile of pretty much any comics, I'd likely read them.

I might end up throwing them across the room afterwards, but I'd read them.

I've been slowly learning about manga and anime from animation history classes onwards, but I don't know this name.

I wouldn't have googled the name if you hadn't suggested it. Notably, the tvtropes reference was what it took for me to find a useful reference.

And I would like to make a sweeping *and accurate* negative comment about manga, for the record.

Where's the "I googled Ryuta Amazume, and I still don't know who it is" button?

On the other hand, I'll read just about anything once.

Of course, googling "Ryuta Amazume" "Wonder Woman" brings us straight back here. Curse you, Nicoll!

Oh, I found the Nana to Kaoru comic.

Oh, my. I now see the point of the question. Oh, my.

I am too busy to answer this poll or complain about this poll, and certainly far too busy to make a comment about it.

Well, fits the original Marston Wonder Woman!

Where is my "I know who Ryuta Amazume is and I wouldn't read it", both because I hardly even know Wonder Woman from the comics, and because it's Amazume.

You might not know this, but in addition to his softcore mainstream stuff, of course he has some basic straight-up porn. Most of his stuff is kinda ok, but one story in particular somehow was able to inject enough realism to its characters in such a way that turned the whole setting and plot into an exercise of My God What Have They Done. I have similar reactions to even the idea of Battle Royale. For me it's a bit like the uncanny valley of fictional universes.

I might check it out if it looked like it was going to head somewhere away from the superhero genre. As Google has re-taught me, however, all departures are towards a destination of some sort.

1) Bondage cats.

2) Well, as you say, it WOULD be going back to her roots, as Chris Sims has often pointed out.
