Japanese researchers are working on a solar-sail spacecraft with 10 times the surface area of the Ikaros testbed launched toward Venus last year, after achieving all of their technical objectives with the testbed.
This spacecraft will launch on a five-year mission instead of the six-month span allotted to Ikaros.

This is the book that stalled my first run on reviewing all of Haikasoru because I ran in an odd problem: I hadn't actually enjoyed reading the book that much but as I worked on the review, Loups-Garous sounded like it should have been awesome. I decided to put it aside for a few months and revisit it; this turns out to have been the right decision.
