Is picking which short section to quote to entice you to click on the link. I think I will go with

Perhaps because of my day-job, I also found myself wondering about -- well, let me be more honest: complaining bitterly and repeatedly about -- is the internal governance and organizational control of this unnamed "Oxford" time-travel organization. It's clearly not ISO 9000 compliant, nor is it compliant with any type of internal-control scheme, hitherto invented or yet to be born: it's an utter mess, run by one man out of his own head with no backups, no written procedures, no organization, and not a lick of sense. There are start-ups run by thirteen-year-olds and their dogs in a garage in San Mateo that have a clearer governance structure and lines of communication than Willis's supposedly world-class research and technology facility.

Alexis Gilliland's The Revolution From Rosinante Long Shot for Rosinante and Pirates of Rosinante.

Work safe. I cannot guarantee that anything you find if you wander away from those links will be. Interplanetary adventure of Gilliland's sort is not really the core focus of Gilliland's new publisher.

VICTORIAVILLE, QUE.— Conservative Leader Stephen Harper has long been known for martial discipline, but his campaign may have crossed the line when someone frog-marched a young woman out of a rally in London, Ont., Sunday.

The first-time voter’s crime, apparently, was to have posed for a picture with Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff and posted it for all to see on her Facebook page.

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff is accusing Conservative Leader Stephen Harper of performing more rigorous background checks on people showing up at his campaign events than advisers he hires in the Prime Minister's Office.

Andrew Love asked this in email, and since I lacked a helpful answer, I am turning to LJ. Reposted with permission:

James,

I got this question from a librarian friend of mine prompted by this TED talk
http://video.ted.com/talks/podcast/DebRoy_2011.mp4
by an MIT media lab researcher who has cameras installed in every room ceiling in
his home to record his family's life. The question is are there any stories that
deal with the problem of managing one's digital past, particularly in the face of
changing technologies and formats. I came up with several stories and books in
which people have massive records of their lives available digitally (see below) but
relatively few that deal with how to manage that data and keep it up to date in
terms of format and accessibility - do you remember any stories that address that
issue?
