You know, if you treat it as SF bubblegum, this show is OK (and parts of it are funny, although I think the scene that got me watching Bones on and off - where she tries to convince Booth to let her carry a gun - is S1, not S2)) but I don't care about Bones' family history. In fact, I am getting X-Files MythArc vibes every time the episodes touch on that subject.
