I can't diss the Nancy too much, because despite the hair and the weirdness, she evidently was one of the people responsible for the thawing of the cold war...and possibly preventing W.W.III

Well, in DC continuity, at least up to the post-1990 reboots, the Nancy who did that was a robot.
