I love how the Clown Guild of Gotham, because of course there is one, is at odds with the Clown Prince of Crime to the point that the Joker actively avoids any of their membership as he doesn't want to go through another round of punishment from the CGG.

This discussion reminded me I wanted to try a webcomic called Clown Corps. Definitely of interest for anyone looking for two-fisted clown action.

I'm not going to pull my copy off the shelf to check the exact details, but GURPS Supers had a "Costume" advantage where your clothing was immune to your own powers and reasonably immune to everyone else's powers too. You got to flavor whether it was simply impervious, or if it could be ripped to shreds but somehow just enough remains to protect your modesty.

How many calories a day does Superman need to support that energy level? Does he leap tall buildings and then immediately have a sugar crash? Then he goes to the nearest donut shop and eats the entire stock to stave off the shakes, I guess. 😁

Even the supers who aren't on Supe's level must have increased metabolic needs, such as Wonder Woman, Captain America, Wolverine, and Spiderman. We should be seeing them eating full-course meals at least six times a day, plus midnight snacks. When would they have the time to fight crime? 🤨

I had a lot of fun with these issues and the consequences in "The Fall of Doc Future" and the sequels. And yes, one reason Doc knows so many people is that he is well known for helping with The Costume Problem and the Phone Problem 8-)

I recall a Heroes Unlimited session a long time ago where the GM ruled that there were so many superheroes operating in our small, hard-to-park-in city (there were two other local gaming groups he knew of trying the same system out) that there would be superheroes-only parking spaces at City Hall.
