I don't have a good entry point because it's Twitter policy to make the worst design decision possible every single time, but wincenworks has an epic thread that's been monstering Nü TSR (and, alternatingly, Wonderfiled/Wunderfilled/whatever that weed-addled bozo calls his outfit) for maybe a year and a half now.

Using the @ for usernames is a recent DW addition. "Alternatively, if you are using Markdown you can use username to link to [personal profile] username. To link to a user on another site, use @ username.sitename." (but take the space out) So in this case you'd want to use @ wincenworks.twitter.com to get wincenworks

AIUI, their crowdfund appeal for their current legal action (which isn't suing WotC as such but trying to get the patents & trademarks folks to allow them to filch TSR's IP) said that a follow-on goal would be to force WotC to remove the legacy disclaimer from the old (very very racist, very very misogynist) products they sell. What legal theory they think would permit them to force that is - oh look, it's the Winged Victory of Samothrace!

(The crowdfunding appeal itself was a farce (of course). It came nowhere close to making, there is reasonable suspicion that the bulk of the funds were given by Grits under aliases to salt the pot, and most of the 'funders' contributed $1 to unlock the ability to post snarky comments.)

I assume these guys think there's a market for tabletop games for alt-right goons. Jokes on them--you have to have imagination to enjoy tabletop RPGS, and fascists are notably devoid of imagination.

This is a perfect example of the overlap between right-wing true believer and right-wing grifter. The people behind NuTSR are in fact bigots, but also this is performative bigotry so they can fundraise. "The SJWs want to cancel us! Send money for the legal fight!"

They're not very good at it. The indiegogo they ran asked for $50k and barely got a tenth of that (and the claim that most of that $5k was put in by themselves the way a busker puts a few bucks in their instrument case before they start to perform), and as for driving up sales... they've never had something to buy.
