Which just goes to show he hasn't re-read his book in between writing it and saying that, because that's not what the book says at all.

Bradbury pretty much proved both Death of the Author, and that authors may be blind to their own works.

It's not even subtext, his characters actually say in the book that the problem is the message and not the medium and omg every time I am reminded that he tried a lazy anti-tv retcon later I get so angry.
