Sad male fan capitalizes on way to be even more creepy to female fans.
As seen on a wide variety of LJ accounts. I have to say there's a clear consensus on the idea of treating women's bodies as public commons and it's not heading in the direction of commutarian touching. Who could have predicted that outcome?

People didn't get on their high horse because it was a Tuesday; people got on their high horse because they felt threatened by the very idea of that "project" coming to their own cons. In effect, the proposal made every con a hostile environment, right up through the withdrawal of the proposal, and beyond, because now the morons of this earth will use the "project" as their excuse for assaultive behaviors.
I don't deny that in small gatherings, things that appear to me to be strange may be accepted and embraced. But a 1000 member con, or a thousand cons, do not constitute a small gathering.
