But what's intrusive to some is just another day for Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff, who told reporters Wednesday: “I have people touching my private parts all day long.”

Ignatieff said that his constant travel means that he essentially lives in airports and has some sympathy for the screeners.

“I've long ceased worrying about these issues. We have to keep this country safe and the people I feel strongly in support of are the hardworking security scanners. It's not a great job. It's tough. You're wearing rubber gloves all day long.”

Ignatieff says he's been through all kinds of security, even the full-body scanners. “I don't know what they can see. I don't think it's a pretty sight. I don't want to know.”

This document officially addresses those who are opposed to, or engaged in the disruption of the implementation of the enhanced airport screening procedures as “domestic extremists.”

It's somewhat moot because Americans know their places and are demonstrating a laudable servility without unseemly extremist fuss.

However, public anger at the searches is likely to be heightened today after Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano revealed tightened security could also be introduced on trains and boats.

She said lat night: 'I think the tighter we get on aviation, we have to also be thinking now about going on to mass transit or to trains or maritime.'

I think the key to getting people used to this is to make sure they encounter it as often as possible. Public transit isn't enough; I say every place of work in American and the schools as well should be guard by liberty scanners and a couple of DHS agent.
