Why do I get the suspicion that an American version featuring a former pro wrestler/current actor, a retired athlete, an actor, an entrepreneur/businessman and social entrepreneur would hilarious in a sort of "I can't tear my eyes away from this disaster" sort of way?

Interesting. 2 of the 3 previous advocates (John K Sampson x 2 and Wab Kinew),that I know have a Winnipeg connection, won 3 out of 4 years they were involved. I don't know if the speaks highly of Clara Hughes chances or if it means the law of averages is about about to catch up with her.

Former mayor Glen Murray (unless that is a different Glen Murray on the list) didn't win.
