Email Woes

Panix's email appears to be pooched for the moment so I will not be replying to email until further notice.

It's available now:
The file server that handles mail is rebuilding disks, making POP and
IMAP very slow. We anticipate the rebuild to finish late this
afternoon, in the 6pm range.

We have disabled mailcheck to facilitate shell logins; you can
read your mail from the shell by, after logging in, setting the MAIL
variable to
/users//.maildir

(Users of desktop mail clients such as Outlook or Eudora need only
extend the timeout in their client's account settings.)

I just send the bujold list to my gmail account, and give it its own label. I can't keep up with it pretty much ever.
