Ghomeshi withdraws lawsuit

A $55-million lawsuit launched by Jian Ghomeshi against the CBC last month, after he was fired as host of the radio arts, culture and entertainment program Q, is being withdrawn.

CBC’s Ioanna Roumeliotis reports that Ghomeshi is to pay $18,000 in legal costs incurred by the CBC.

There's probably a pretty good-sized "moral turpitude" clause in his contract - which is typical for most public figures.

I giggled at the thought just now that Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne probably have "moral rectitude" clauses in their contracts.
