Is my new site eligible for any Hugo category or does it fall between the keys?

Criticism is usually Best Related Work.

I think it's best considered a Related Work.

It's related to a best considered work. I think now all the variations have been covered.

Was it ever settled if one nominates the blog as a whole, or just a single post?

Best Related Work, Best Fan Writer, Fuckit Hugos Are Kinda Arbitrary So Just Vote For Shit (This Is How The Racist Assholes Tried To Hijack Last Year).

There's several categories, is what I'm saying.

Vote splitting between categories is bad.

"Multiple eligibility" would be my point. The major distinction would be where you suggest people nominate you.

You're personally eligible for Best Fan Writer. Your reviews are probably a Best Related Work. That's not vote splitting. But you're right that if people divide votes between Best Fanzine and Best Related Work (the only categories I can see your site fitting into), that would be bad.

My suspicion is quantity has its own quality and if by nomination season I have a hundred or so reviews up...

If you're getting paid for the reviews, does that disqualify them for the "fan writing" category? I know this kind of informal payment arrangement doesn't seem "professional" in some ways, but it might still push the work into the Best Related Work category.
