Unlikely. No matter how good the acting, directing or writing is for a genre film, it's most likely to only get noms for technical categories (special effects, sound editing, makeup, etc.). The most "upscale" categories it might get nominated for are things like editing and soundtrack/song. The film of 2001 is an exception, having received noms for Kubrick's direction and the screenplay (Kubrick and Clarke), but the only Oscar it actually received was for best visual effects. And most people consider 2001 to be very different, tonally and otherwise, from the vast majority of SF films.
