Large portions of Sarah Goes to College are too quiet to listen, even if I use the volume boosting option on the Playbook, the one that comes with a warning.
Well, it was their first, so some technical issues are to be expected.
It's possible that someone with technical acumen can boost the volume on at least some of the quiet portions. (Although I'm sure the volume boosting option on the Playbook is good, BlackBerry in general some stuff to be desired in the multimedia area. And preset limits, while usually acceptable, might not be what you need in this case.) I hastily point out that I am not a person with technical acumen in this case.
If James has downloaded files, increasing the volume on them and compressing them so that the volume is more even throughout would be extremely easy to do, and it'd be a pleasure to do it as some payback for the entertainment I've had from reading MWDH.
Or, in this case, private message. I have no idea what people call that on LJ, I only really have an account to comment on other journals (my own contains precisely one soup recipe, which is a fine recipe, but not necessarily worth waiting through an advert for).
Anyway, options: show me where the files come from & I'll process them & send on via dropbox or box.net; send me the files via something with a box in the name; download Audacity and I can tell you how to process them yourself, if you feel it's something you might want to do regularly.
