Date: 2013-04-02 12:58 pm (UTC)I find it impossible to take someone seriously who complains that the Hugos do not examine sf/f critically, then rails against a "recognizable style" of writing favored by Hugo voters which he then fully admits he cannot recognize because it is "difficult to pin down." That betrays a complete and determined inability to understand both critical examination of a text and the definition of the word "recognizable."
